Beth and Phil with their two daughters Clara and Alessandra are fourth generation farmers and live on their Tarwin Lower property.

Phil’s Great Grandparents were Pioneers to the South Gippsland Region. In 1882 they settled in Kardella, cleared the land and began farming beef and sheep. 

The Western family has been producing GRASS FED Lambs since 1882. The lambs are raised on the companies properties in Tarwin Lower and Kardella (near Korumburra).

All the Lambs are 100% Grass Fed, Hormone and Antibiotic free, and treated calmly with respect.


Beth and Phil provide you with premium quality lamb, at great prices. The lamb is tasty and succulent and hand selected, fresh from the farm to your family.

Phil personally transports these lambs direct to the abattoir to ensure their journey is calm and stress-free. The lambs are then chilled for 7 days before being prepared and packaged by our local accredited butcher.


Beth and Phil pride themselves in raising their stock under Sustainable Land Management Practices. All stock at Five Mile Lamb is treated with total respect with low stress levels - which means tastier meat for you.

Beth and Phil would like to share with you their passion for farming by introducing to your table a “paddock to plate experience”.


Five Mile Lamb is better than organic and far less expensive.  It's the tastiest in the south and it's "Fresh from the Farm" to your family.
